About Proud Day Bake-Off Challenge
The Pound Ridge Bake-Off, an annual baking contest for all ages, brings wholesome and old-fashioned fun to town.
Introduced by Partnership Vice President Terri Pike, the Bake-Off began 10 years ago as a Pound Ridge Proud Day event. This year, it will take place on Saturday, June 15, on the Green in Scotts Corners. A DJ and judges will be on stage in front of a live audience, with everyone enjoying the shade under a big tent.
Community members in Pound Ridge, as well as our neighbors in Bedford and Katonah, are invited to compete in four categories
Adults
1. Cake
2. Cookies
3. Pie
Juniors
4. Cake, Cookies, or Pie
We will award medals to winners, and a perpetual trophy with each year’s Grand Prize Winner will sit year-round at Blind Charlie’s, giving the Grand Prize Winner some serious bragging rights! A fabulous panel of judges representing local businesses and community organizations will be selecting all the winners. Sign up below and start gathering your recipes today!
