Pound Ridge Proud Days 2023

Pound Ridge Proud has grown to be multiple Pound Ridge Proud Days, which now allow residents to participate more comfortably in all the events in June!

Saturday, June 3

Pound Ridge Color Run: 9:00 am to 10:15 am, Pound Ridge Elementary School. A collaboration between the Pound Ridge Human Rights Advisory Committee (HRAC) and the Pound Ridge Partnership commemorating LGBTQ Pride Month. Register on the Pound Ridge Color Run website. Refreshments following the race at the Market Square lawn.

Pound Ridge Bake-Off: 10:30 am-12:30pm, on the Green in Scotts Corners. Register online to enter the competition or come and sit under the big tent to watch the judging!

Pound Ridge Partnership Awards Ceremony: 1:00pm, on the Green in Scotts Corners. The community is invited to applaud the 2023 Bake-Off Winner and the Pound Ridge Partnership’s High School Scholarship Winner!

Sunday, June 4

Beautification: 10:30am-12:30pm, in the Business District and at Pound Ridge Elementary School. Residents, families, and local organizations come together with pride to beautify Pound Ridge by cleaning, weeding, planting, and mulching. There will be refreshments following clean-up. Sign up to volunteer!

Chick Show: 1:00pm-2:30pm, in collaboration with Copia Garden Center, featuring live chicks! Presentations of various size flocks, and a feed vendor to explain products on the Green.

Saturday, June 17

Battle of the Bands: 5:00 to 7:00 pm, on the Green in Scotts Corners. A competition to be the opening act for the Pound Ridge Harvest Festival! The community will decide the winners through applause. Enter to compete or join in the fun and root for your favorite band.

Monday, June 19

Juneteenth in Pound Ridge: 6:00 to 7:00 pm, on the Green in Scotts Corners. Juneteenth honors the day all formerly enslaved people were made aware of the Emancipation Proclamation and officially gained their freedom. Marking the national holiday, the Human Rights Advisory Committee (HRAC) and the Pound Ridge Partnership are co-hosting a free jazz concert. Enjoy the music of The Alison Shearer Quartet. A food truck will be on site!
