Battle of the Bands is a music competition held among four bands in two categories, adults and young adults, and all participants perform live on the new stage on the Green in Scotts Corners. The winner in each category is selected by the audience and receives a coveted opening band slot at Pound Ridge Harvest Festival, which is on October 7 this year.

Join us on the Green and watch our finalists in a live Battle of the Bands at 5pm on June 17!

HOW TO APPLY:

Submissions open April 7. Please fill out the form below to apply.

• The categories are Young Adult: All members of the band must be 16 years old or under; and Adult: At least one member of the band must be over 16 years old.
• Please send us links to two audio or video files (video is preferred). Acceptable formats include .mp3 audio files, .mp4 or .mov videos or links to SoundCloud, YouTube, Vimeo or similar platform.
• Submissions should contain the names and instrumentation of each band member and a contact name and phone number for the band.
• There is no entry fee.
• Songs do not have to be originals. We will accept submissions in all genres of music and all instrumentation including solo performers.

The four winners will be chosen by a special committee of the Pound Ridge Partnership. Winners must be prepared to perform two to three songs in the finals.

While we can only choose two winners, we love to spread good music so tag us along the way on Instagram @pound.ridge.partnership and we can repost your tunes for the whole community to enjoy!
