The PRP Scholarship Award was created this year as a direct result of watching all of these young kids in our town help out and participate in our events throughout the years. Our vision has always been to encourage our children to get involved in the community.
This year’s winner has been involved since the inception of the PRP. She has been an active participant increasing her role year after year. She has worked tirelessly with children, ran stations at Pride Day and Harvest Festival, counted tickets, provided advice on ways to improve our events and created social media pages to advertise Harvest Festival — to name just a few.
With a forever smile on her face and “I’m happy to help!” attitude … This year’s first ever $1,000 2018 PRP Scholarship award is presented to Miss Lindsey Velez! Lindsey, we value your commitment and dedication to the town of Pound Ridge. Congratulations, you deserve it!
