Terri Pike has been involved with International Education in secondary schools for most of her professional career. She taught English for the Department of Defense Schools in Okinawa, Japan; chaired the High School English Department for the American School in Mexico City, Mexico; and finished her career at the Hackley School, a college prep school in Tarrytown, New York, where she taught High School English and subsequently developed the English as a Second Language Department, which she chaired. Terri also volunteered as a CCD teacher for St. Teresa’s Church in Briarcliff Manor and St. Patrick’s Church in Bedford, as well as teaching English as a Second Language to immigrants on a volunteer basis. Terri is married to Randy Pike; they have two grown children and two grand children. Soon after moving to Pound Ridge in 1999, Terri chose to dedicate herself to community service. The Pound Ridge Partnership has become Terri’s focus. She chooses to use her energy to give to the community, motivated by the inspiration of the members of the Partnership.
