SUMMARY:Proud Days Bake-Off Challenge
DESCRIPTION:The Pound Ridge Bake-Off\, an annual baking contest for all ages\, brings wholesome and old-fashioned fun to town. Introduced by Partnership Vice President Terri Pike\, the Bake-Off began 10 years ago as a Pound Ridge Proud Days event. This year\, it will take place right after the Color Run on Saturday\, June 3 on the new Green in Scotts Corners. A DJ and microphoned judges will be on stage in front of a live audience\, with everyone enjoying the shade under a big tent.\n \nCommunity members in Pound Ridge\, as well as our neighbors in Bedford and Katonah\, are invited to compete in four categories: \n \nADULTS \n1. Cake\n2. Cookies\n3. Pie \n \nJUNIORS:\n4. Cake\, Cookies\, OR Pie \n \nWe will award medals to winners\, and a perpetual trophy with each year’s Grand Prize Winner will sit year-round at Blind Charlie’s\, giving the Grand Prize Winner some serious bragging rights. Scroll down to sign up and start gathering your recipes today!\n \nTo complete your registration\, you will need to bring the following items to the Bake-Off by 9:30am on the day of the event:\n \n\nA photo of your entry\nThe recipe\n10 individually wrapped samples\nA duplicate of your entry (to be raffled off after judging)\n\n  \nREGISTRATION FEES: \n$10 for Adults; Juniors\, ages 12 and under\, are free. Checks made out to Pound Ridge Partnership should be mailed to Pound Ridge Partnership\, PO Box 402\, Pound Ridge\, New York 10576 no later than Thursday\, June\, 1. Please note “Bake-Off” in the memo at the bottom of the check.
